Intellectual property (IP) drives a large segment of todayʹs global economy. Valuable IP rights may exist in products and services we see, hear, and use everyday. Intellectual property is a general term for categories of rights in intangible creations of the mind. This course will focus on the four main types of intellectual property: patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets (including trade dress).
